the arts and culture of Haida Gwaii
on a self-guided tour, with more than 40 diverse and fascinating artists’
studios and galleries. In each island
community you have a chance to meet artisans in the environment where they
create their unique work. You’ll find
everything from traditional Haida carving and
weaving to quilts, from wooden boxes to pottery, from watercolour to acrylic
to oil painting. Just look for the AR
logo in studio windows. For
